In Dao De Jing, Lao Zi explained that before Heaven and Mother Earth there was a blurred condition, still and empty, with no sound, no shape, bigger than biggest, and smaller than smallest. It always existed and will always exist. It is the mother and father of everyone and everything, inc+E2luding Heaven, Mother Earth, countless planets, stars, galaxies, and universes, and humanity. He called this Tao.

Tao is the ultimate Source, The Way of all life, the universal principles and laws.

“De” means the expression, behavior, and action of Tao. Tao creates everyone and everything. De nourishes everyone and everything.

Apply the Five Power Techniques to transform all life through the Tao Calligraphy Tao De.

Body Power. Place one or both palms facing the calligraphy without touching it.

Soul Power. Say hello to inner souls:

Dear soul mind body of _________ (address any aspect of your spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical bodies for which you would like to receive healing),
I love you.
You have the power to heal yourself.
Do a good job!
Thank you.

Say hello to outer souls:

Dear Tao Calligraphy Tao De,
I love you, honor you, and appreciate you.
Please remove shen qi jing blockages to heal _________ (repeat your request).
I am extremely grateful.
Thank you.

Mind Power. Visualize the Tao Calligraphy Tao De shining golden light to the area for which you have requested healing. All of the treasures within the calligraphy are blessing you.

Sound Power. You may chant silently or aloud:

Tracing Power. Put the fingertips of one hand together, with the thumb touching the tips of the four fingers. The five fingertips represent the Five Elements of ancient Chinese philosophy: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

Trace the Tao Calligraphy Tao De. While continuing to chant, trace for ten minutes.

Chant and trace for ten minutes per time, three times a day. For chronic and life-threatening conditions, chant and trace for two hours or more per day. You can practice in increments, but your total practice time should be at least two hours each day.

At the end of every practice, always remember to show your gratitude by saying:

Hao! Hao! Hao!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Gong Song. Gong Song. Gong Song.

“Hao” (pronounced how) means get well, wonderful, perfect. “Gong Song” means respectfully return. This is to return the countless souls who came to bless you during the practice.
